But it wasn’t always that way…

I was once in your shoes!

Back in 2004 when I put up my first website (pre-Wordpress days) I had a lot of doubts as well. In fact, I didn’t even have a blog on my website; all I had was an HTML static website where I sold my online courses from (How to Quit Your Job and Follow Your Dreams and How to Become a 6-Figure Woman).

Then in 2007, I learned about WordPress from my Virtual Assistant Angela and my world changed! I started blogging and I literally doubled my income that year! It was like magic! I could write a blog post and make money!

I was hooked!

Now don’t get me wrong, it’s not just about the money. I love being of service to others, sharing my passions, and having an impact on my readers lives!

A while back I wrote a blog post that brought in over $3000 shortly after I published it! I promoted Yanik Silver’s annual Internet Marketing Conference. So I signed up for his FREE affiliate program, wrote a blog post, promoted it on my site and on social media and had 3 people click my link and I made $1000 in affiliate commissions for each person that bought a ticket for this event!
Another blog post I wrote about Marie Forleo’s B School earned me $1,000 in commissions! (her affiliate program is closed now; but it was open to the public back then).
